Drum major suspended for waving at President Obama - update

There's a controversy brewing in Cleveland, Ohio, regarding the drum major for a firefighter's pipes and drums band.  Apparently waving at the president from the inaugural parade is a 6 month suspendable offense.  He needs our support.
