Ohio's bloggers have done it again, but this time, they need our help.
Canton's print newspaper is on the story.
North Canton Police Chief Michael Grimes and Uniontown Police Chief Jack Koontz issued separate statements saying the allegations are being investigated.
Grimes said both dispatchers have been placed on administrative leave during the investigation, which will be handled by one of the department’s investigators. E-mail accounts for the two dispatchers have been suspended.
Check out the story. Neither police chief says this leave is unpaid. WTF? Taxpayers are going to pay to find out whether or not this email is racist? IT SAYS N1G66ER ON AIR FORCE ONE! Is this a joke? Tim Russo at Blogger Interrupted notes -
During this investigation, I would remind the Uniontown and North Canton police departments that in perpetuity, their dispatcher’s names will be on Google tied to the word N1G66ER. Memo to the chiefs of police – it’s your choice how fucked your 2010 is, versus how fucked these racists’ 2010 becomes.
Perhaps this will have some effect on their review, and whether or not Anita Malachowski and Holli Webb will be kept on both departments. I for one I’m quite tired of police departments being tarred with racist hate toward our president. Barack Obama is my president, he’s yours, and your police should salute and march.
It's time to stop the smears. Again. We spent all of 2008 fighting them, and now we have to fight them once more. And we have to fight them in our own police departments. What a shame.
Contact the Uniontown, OH police, and the North Canton police, and tell them that these dispatchers should be on unpaid leave while the departments investigate. I'm not sure what investigation needs to be done, other than to find out how many other police departments and police employees are involved.
It is a crying shame that police departments seem to be a hotbed for this kind of crap.
Well, welcome to the blogosphere, ladies in blue. You’re officially fucked. Enjoy Googling your name and seeing the word N166ER next to it, for the rest of your careers. That’s what I call free speech, officers. Consider yourself protected. And served.
Come on, Kossacks. Let's back up our country's president. Apparently, law enforcement won't, unless we force them to. Here's the contact info.
